Double Tube Sheet Heat Exchanger (DTS)

Product description

Product Overview:

Double Tube Sheet (DTS) Heat Exchanger is a specialized shell and tube heat exchanger designed to prevent cross-contamination between two fluids. It features two separate tube sheets at each end of the tube bundle, creating an intermediate space that acts as a leak detection zone. This design is critical for applications where fluid mixing could cause safety hazards, product loss, or environmental concerns, such as in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and fine chemical industries.

Laser Welding Technology: Precision welding of tubes to both tube sheets for maximum integrity

1) Design and manufacture according to FDA and cGMP requirements

2) Double tube plate structure to prevent cross-contamination

3) The tube side is fully emptied, no dead angle, no residue

4) All made of high-quality 304/316L stainless steel

5) Tube surface roughness <0.5μm

6) Double groove expansion joint, reliable sealing

7) Hydraulic tube expansion technology

8) The heat exchange tubes are complete in specifications: medium 6, medium 8, medium 10, φ12

Product details

The double tube sheet exchanger consists of a standard shell and tube configuration with the addition of a second tube sheet at each end. The gap between the two tube sheets is vented to the atmosphere or connected to a monitoring system to detect any leakage from either the shell or tube side. Tubes are expanded and/or welded into both tube sheets to ensure integrity.

Frequently asked questions
